•    16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
•    DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor is a software that checks to see if your computer is ready for the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. It scans your hardware, devices and installed programs for compatibility issues. It also guides you to resolve such issues.

Steps to Install Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor

•    Log in to your computer using administrative rights.
•    Navigate to the Microsoft Download Center website.
•    Click the "Download" button. Choose "Run" when the download dialog box appears to run the "Windows7UpgradeAdvisorSetup.exe" file.
•    Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
•    Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor" from your "Start" menu or desktop shortcut.
